A new survey suggests that boys and girls like different Minecraft Minecraft toys.
The survey, conducted by toy retailer Amazon and toymaker LEGO, surveyed 1,038 children aged between eight and 13 years old.
The researchers asked the children about their favorite Minecraft toys and also gave them Minecraft-themed stickers.
The results showed that boys were more likely to like the “Adventure” Minecraft toy than girls.
“These toys are more fun for boys,” says Amazon spokeswoman Katie Lutz.
“They are more interactive and more fun to play with.
They also have more colors and patterns, so they’re more personalized to the child.”
According to Lutz, most of the toys boys like have at least one character they can use as a vehicle, which she says makes them easier to find and play with and makes them more enjoyable to play.
“As a result, the boys are more likely than the girls to find the vehicles fun to use,” she says.
“The majority of the boys who were surveyed were more than happy to use their cars as a ‘bike,’ ” says Lutz.
“And, most boys loved the “Skeleton” Minecraft-inspired toy.”
They were very enthusiastic about the idea of creating and using the skeleton to play and explore,” she adds.
In a separate survey, which surveyed 535 kids aged between five and 14 years old, only 1 in 10 boys and boys aged 10 to 14 said they had played Minecraft.
This indicates that children play Minecraft less frequently, and that boys like the more interactive toys that they can play with.”
There is also evidence that boys are drawn to Minecraft games because they are more similar to Minecraft than other popular toys, like Barbie and SpongeBob SquarePants.
“While there is a lot of competition for boys and Minecraft has a more open and inclusive community, we are finding that boys love the game more than girls,” says Litz.
“For them, the game is more about imagination and exploration than building, but that’s really the appeal.”
